HERstory Films is on a mission to showcase female leadership & voices in film, with female led crew in all aspects of production.
Founded by Alisha Freeman-Rembert (Aka: TheFilmAli), HERstory Films is a female empowered production company anchored in storytelling, creating & discovering content that celebrates women behind the camera and on the page. We tell stories big & small, funny, complex, those that are needed in our world today & that encourage moving forward together as one human-race.

Our female led team will work with you on all pre-production needs. From treatments to casting, scripts & location scouting, we can do it all.
What We Do
Production
This is the fun part. The pre-production planning has led us to this part of the storytelling, and we're all hands on deck. We are female led in all aspects of your behind the camera needs, from cinematographers, to on-set unit photographers, directors, audio engineers, mixers, lighting techs & more.
Post-Production
Your post-production needs will be cared for by some awesome technically gifted team members, in all areas of post. Mixers, composers, singers, color graders, & editors.
